Middle Manual QA Engineer

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re seeking a Middle Manual Quality Assurance Engineer.

Your mission at Yellow:

1. You will participate in feature scoping, testing efforts estimation, and delivery of the project.
2. Close cooperation with developers, designers, and business analysts.
3. Requirement analysis and testing.
4. Preventing possible issues in the early stages.
5. Performing project testing (mostly functional and UX/UI).
6. Creation and maintenance of the test documentation (checklists, test plans, test sets, test cases).
7. Bug reporting and tracking.
8. Providing test execution, and project status reports.
9. Maintain the health of development and CI/CD flow on the project.

Qualifications and Special Requirements:

1. Advanced level of written and verbal communication in English.
2. Have 2+ years of experience in web software testing.
3. Experience with designing, implementing, and running test cases.
4. Ability to differentiate between critical and not critical test coverage.
5. Knowledge of REST API, and ability to compose requests with Postman.
6. Knowledge of HTTP, JSON, HTML, CSS.
7. Basic knowledge of SQL, and ability to compose simple queries.
8. Knowledge of Scrum methodology (LeeS).
9. Knowledge of SDLC (Software Developments Life Cycle) and DLC (Defect Life Cycle).
10. Knowledge of CI/CD flow.
11. Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
12. Ability to work in a multi-project environment.
13. Ability to work independently.

Will be a plus:

1. Experience in mobile web app testing.
2. Experience with security testing.
3. Ability to share the previous experience with the team.
4. Knowledge of GRPC API, and ability to compose requests with Kreya or other tools.
5. Knowledge of X-ray test management tool.
6. Knowledge of Supabase and Lens tool.
